Awaken the Power Within You

“According to the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the practice of meditation adds no special powers at all. All the powers are always present within us, but they are lying blocked (Sutra IV.3). When a farmer wants to irrigate his field , he does not create water, nor does he push it into the field. He simply raises the sluice gate that was blocking the flow, and the field is automatically irrigated. The blocks we have placed in our minds are simply removed in meditation so that the inner forces begin to function, and all our faculties come to their fullest possible growth.”

How Unity Got a Transcendent God

 Hi Friends,

This is a great post on the Truth Unity Website:

That metaphysical Christians experience God as immanent (the God within which we refer to as the Christ) is well understood. What is not so obvious is our experience of the transcendent God (a God in which we live and move and have our being). Does such a God exist? If so, is the transcendent God comprehensible to us? If a transcendent God exists and is comprehensible, is such a God personally involved in my life? Does He or She care? Or is It impersonal Principle?

This 90 minute talk given in 1984 by Phil White explains why we have his ambiguity in Unity today. Phil explains and compares the basic belief of Phineas Quimby, “change your thoughts and you change your life” and the basic belief of Mary Baker Eddy, “Divine Mind and its ideas lead to expression”.Read More>>>>>

May every word you speak float down like a rose petal.

May every step you take tinkle like a silver bell.
May every thought in your mind become a star in heaven.
May everything you touch become flowers and fruits.
May you be Infinity's infant and suckle on Her sun-breast.
May sunbeam and moonbeam be the twin ropes for your soul's swing.
May every word you speak float down like a rose petal.
